CLOCKUP (Japanese: クロックアップ) is a Japanese video game developement brand by Entacom Inc. which focuses on adult visual novels.
Brand history[edit | edit source]
Originally the company developed business software before the president back then decide to change the shift of the company to adult video games since the president was good in illustrations.
The brand name CLOCKUP is a reference to the practise of overclocking done on a machine to increase its clock rate. For the brand it means in a transmitted sense that "ordinary is boring" and to "do something better".
The company blew up in popularity in Japan with the titles euphoria and fraternite.
